What's Old - Here's where you find news that had been on the Main Page
March 24, 2002
Been a while again since last update.  Our gaming group has rationalized its schedule.  There are four DM's in our group.  Previously, every week there was a discussion of who would run the following week.  Now we have implemented a policy that each DM would run his campaign for a number of weeks (or more) until the module/adventure/storyline arc they had planned had run its course.

We've also put in a new "Call" rule.  Basically, whenever someone says something that is supposedly in character, but they didn't really mean their character would say or do, they can be Called by another player.  The first player's would then have to say or do whatever the player had said.  It has added another level of fun, and tends to keep the player's comments a bit more in character.

Updates in the Campaign History section.  The Forge of Fury History has been moved to it's own page.  I've also reformatted the entries on the Sunless Citadel History and Forge of Fury History to an easier to read chronological structure, rather than the reverse chronology that was originally posted.

Campaign History has been updated with the second (and probably last) Forge of Fury update.  Now that the RPGA has announced the approval of WotC's Adventure Path modules, methinks we'll be seeing some different roads to walk down.  Have no fear, I've got some great ideas and I think that it will be even more enjoyable than before.

Happy New Year!  The Campaign History page has been updated with the first entry from the Forge of Fury.  The Sunless Citadel's History has been moved to it's own page.  I've also moved some of the older entries from this page to it's own Old News page.  Slight changes have been made to the Player Characters page.

Happy Thanksgiving!  It's been a while since the pages have been updated.  The campaign has been put on hold for a short period while the the gaming group is playing a whole series of Living Greyhawk adventures.  The Campaign History page has been updated with the recap of the Sunless Citadel.  Hopefully we can get back to the story of Haggar's Horribles before the end of the year.  I know I've got a bunch of ideas for plot and character development.

I've also added a message board feature to the site, for general issues or to have In Character discussions without the clutter of the yahoo! group mailing list..  Check it out.  In Character Discussion message boards.

Another entry on the Campaign History page.  Soon I'll catch up to where the party is currently.

Continued to flesh out the Gaming Materials section.  Added a second page.  It's hard for me to tell if pages are getting slow due to my cable modem connection (said with all modesty).  If visitors with dial-up connections are finding specific pages too slow, please let me know here.  Thanks.

I've begun to document the experiences of the party (from the DM's point of view).  See the Campaign History page (link at left) for more info.  Also, if players wish to send me what happened from their perspective, I'll post it (and award RP XP for it).

Please see the link at the top of this page to donate to the American Red Cross[note: the link has been removed, but you can still use the hyperlink in this section to donate] Amazon will process the donation free of the customary credit card processing fees.  You can donate as little as $1.00 via your credit card.

I've also begun to set links up to Amazon.com to make it easy to purchase game materials referenced on this site.

First attempt at a real site.  I'm going to create an area for player contributions and an area to serve as a campaign journal for the game.  Bear with me as I learn how to use FrontPage and re-learn HTML.  Please send me your comments on the site here.
